HOW TO SET UP YOUR SONG FOR A MIX.
Bounce all your individual stems from Zero.
Make sure that there is no digital clipping on your individual stems and on the final mixdown.
If you have a effect (usually an insert) on a stem that is a part of the sound then bounce with this effect.
Clearly name your stems.
Send a rough mix of your song.
Add any notes or musical references.
I use Cubase for mixing and production, if you are working with this D.A.W then you can just send me your song.
